Quotable Reagan

“The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they’re ignorant; it’s just that they know so much that isn’t so.”

From his “A Time for Choosing” speech in 1964

"We need true tax reform that will at least make a start toward restoring for our children the American Dream that wealth is denied to no one. ... But we cannot have such reform while our tax policy is engineered by people who view the tax as a means of achieving changes in our social structure.”

In his 1981 speech to the National Alliance of Business
